Use of AI

How RapidMart was made

AI tools were used to make this item:

• Code: AI coding assistants (Anthropic’s Claude) helped write and review the backend, admin dashboard, store panel, website, mobile apps and shared packages.
• Documentation: this documentation and the read-me files were written with AI assistance.
• Graphics: some images were generated or edited with AI tools, such as product pictures and illustrations used in the public demo and in the item’s preview images.
• Listing assets: the item description and the preview and screenshot artwork were made with AI assistance.

Everything was directed, reviewed and tested by the author. The code is covered by automated tests, and the apps and dashboard were checked by hand on phones, simulators and browsers.

AI features in the product

Separately from how it was made, RapidMart has optional AI features (see AI features):

• Snap to Shop: customers take a photo, and the app finds the product in nearby stores.
• Snap to List: stores take a photo, and AI drafts the product’s title, description, tags and price.

They use Google Gemini or OpenAI with your own API key, and stay off until you add one. No data is sent to an AI provider while they’re off.
